Applications
- HDAX® 9300 is designed for the latest generation of high-output, low-emission four-stroke engines running on natural gas. With a medium ash content, it delivers high performance in high Brake Mean Effective Pressure (BMEP) engines with steel pistons (BMEP ≥ 22 bar) and extended drain intervals. HDAX® 9300 also provides excellent performance in lower BMEP engines with aluminum pistons.
- It is ideal for four-cycle gas engines in cogeneration systems, medium-speed stationary spark ignition engines, and dual-fuel pilot injection engines using sweet natural gas or LPG. The oil is suitable for fuels with low levels of sulfur and chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). In sour gas or high CFC applications, lubricants with a higher base reserve, such as HDAX® 9500 SAE 40 and HDAX® 6500 SAE 40, may be needed.
